নয়াদিল্লি: শুক্রবার পশ্চিম দিল্লির মুন্ডকা মেট্রো স্টেশনের কাছে একটি তিনতলা বাড়িতে ভয়াবহ অগ্নিকাণ্ডে মৃত বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ২৭ জন। ঘটনায় আহত হয়েছেন ১২ জন। হতাহতের সংখ্যা আরও বাড়তে পারে বলে মনে করা হচ্ছে। বেশ কয়েকজন নিখোঁজ রয়েছেন। ঘটনাস্থল থেকে এখনও পর্যন্ত প্রায় ৬০ জনকে উদ্ধার করা সম্ভব হয়েছে। উদ্ধারকাজ এখনও চলছে। ঘটনায় ২ জনকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে।

গতকাল ওই এলাকায় বহুতলে আগুন লাগে। বাড়িটিতে একাধিক অফিস ভাড়া ছিল। ফলে জনসমাগম ভালোই ছিল সেখানে। আগুনের গ্রাস থেকে বাঁচতে বহুতল থেকে ঝাঁপ দিয়েছেন কেউ কেউ। ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছায় দমকলের বেশ কয়েকটি ইঞ্জিন। আহতদের হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করা হয়। আগুন লাগার কারণ স্পষ্ট নয়। প্রাথমিকভাবে জানা গিয়েছে, বহুতলে একটি কারখানা ছিল। যেখানে সিসিটিভি ও রাউটার তৈরি করা হত। বাড়িটির সিসিটিভি ফুটেজ খতিয়ে দেখছেন তদন্তকারীরা। ইতিমধ্যেই কারখানার মালিক হরিশ গোয়েল এবং বরুণ গোয়েলকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে। বিল্ডিংয়ের মালিক মণীশ লাকড়া পলাতক। ঘটনার তদন্ত চলছে।
